So everyone's aware of Blagojevich. Old news, boring, washed up, we're sick of hearing about him. So I'm not going to write on that, you know the story. But I would like to point this situation out, just to help illustrate my point.
In Baltimore City, good ole Mayor Sheila Dixon was indicted on 12 counts. Good luck getting yourself out from that one, Mayor...especially with attorneys having been hard at work on this case for months.
Who else is under the radar? Dood, Spitzer, Richardson, etc. It's been a rocky start for the Democratic party, who suddenly has found themselves knee-deep in cases that they really don't want to be handling.
So what does this mean for the Obama administration? People have already cast a wary eye on the President-Elect, and the hype has significantly died down since the election ended. Granted, we will see a rebirth of that come Inauguration Day, but for now we see a sense of uneasiness among the Democratic Party. What would be the result of the emergence of an Obama scandal? It's hard to tell, but his links throughout the corrupted party (Blago, Richardson, etc.) ive us reason to be wary.

Given the poor ethics and bungled priorities of the last eight years, I should think a better test of Mr. Obama would not be the 60 days he has been in office.
Personally, I am alot less fearful every day this brilliant politician is in office. He takes his strength from others instead of taking a know-it-all, stance. Even though he is brilliant.
Suddenly the crisis of the unpopular war is reduced to the back page, we have a huge, well paid and professional army to do the job, which will shift its goals to catching that monster.
It seems the quietly effective drone aircraft have wiped out a goodly portion of the enemy cadre.
That coupled with a shift in philosophy will make the war less visible to the natives as yankees pack up and go home.
In answer to another of your writers who "didn't know conservative viewpoints existed on campuses," does he want the names of some extremely conserative universities, such as Brigham-Young, weber state, Oral Roblerts, or just conservative, such as Nebraska, Oklahoma, many Bible colleges, such as the Armstrong Ministry in Pasadena, California. There are literally hundreds of smaller private college with church affiliation, such as Methodist, Lutheran, Southeran Baptist, and Catholic. Notre Dame and Fordham are larger conservative schools that are not liberal but very conservative. The military academies contribute no small number of conservative schools and students.
I rememember when the weeping and knashing of teeth was at its peek as conservatives wrung hands and called for "investigations into all the liberal professors who control all those impressionable minds with their tenure."
The people speak. If they are not heard or feel the system is out of balance, political change takes place. It is the best system ever devised for the citizenry to be heard.
I enjoy reading all points of view and seek to find the truth and write about it as it presents itself. Thanks
